Hierarchy

Users can use this module. Please check your user privileges with your system administrator if you can not see this option.

Asset Hierarchy is a system that helps you to create parent-child relationships between assets and their components. When you use this feature, you can add entities to the parent entities.

On the list page of hierarchies, the details of all hierarchies are described using various columns titled:

• Prefix - It is the device tag. If there is a long list of hierarchies, It helps us to find all the sensors belonging to the same hierarchy by simply tying in the respective prefix in the search engine.

• Name - It is the name of the new entity that you will add to the parent entity to create a new hierarchy.

• Hierarchy - It shows the exact network or each level of hierarchy i.e., how one entity belongs to others. All levels are mentioned, especially the last entity to which our device will belon

Clicking on any column title (Prefix, Name, and Entity) sort by that column 👍

You can edit the detail of an entity by using the edit button.

You can delete an entity by using the delete button.

• If there is a long list of sensors, then this list is converted into the number of pages. You can go to these pages by clicking on the respective button . You can go to the next page of sensors by clicking the next button or can go to the previous page by clicking on the previous button . These buttons are available at the bottom right of the list page of hierarchies.
