Devices

A device is a machine that does some processing and generates output. When you use this feature, the device you register will appear on the list page of the module devices and you will see the following information

On the list page of your devices, the details of the devices are described by using various columns titled named:

  • Status - In this column, you can check the status of the device i.e., whether the device is active or not active.

  • Entity - It is the name of the entity to which you assigned your device.

  • Tag - It is the device tag that is unique for each device.

  • Name - In this column, you can check the name of the device.

  • Network ID - It is the network ID for the device/s.

  • Signal Strength - This column provides you the information about the signal strength. You can visualize the signal strength in the form of a column chart. By hovering over it, you can get the value of the signal strength of the device on the y coordinate and the corresponding date and time on the x coordinate.

  • Voltage - This column provides you the information about the voltage of the device. You can visualize the voltage in the form of a column chart. By hovering over it, you can get the value of the voltage of the device on the y coordinate and the corresponding date and time on the x coordinate.

  • Last Seen - It is the last time when the value is updated for the device.

Clicking on any column title (Entity, Tag, Name, Network ID, and Last Seen), sort by that column 👍

If there is a long list of devices, then this list is converted into the number of pages. You can go to these pages by clicking on the respective button . You can go to the next page of devices by clicking the next button or can go to the previous page by clicking on the previous button . These buttons are available at the bottom right of the list page of sensors.

Filtering Devices

You can go to the search engine and search for a device from those available in the current list. The search will apply to text in any of the following columns:

  • Entity

  • Tag

  • Name

  • Network ID

  • Last Seen

Exporting Email Message log

  • You can get a copy of the list page of all devices which includes the Status, Entity, Tag, Name, Network ID, Signal Strength, Voltage, and Last Seen of all the devices in various formats such as Copy, CSV, Excel, PDF, and Print.

  • You will get several buttons such as Copy, CSV, Excel, PDF, and Print by clicking on the tab Export which will help you to save the list page in the format that is mentioned on their respective buttons.

You can go to the updating page of the device by clicking on either the name of the device or the respective edit button.
