Registering a device

To register a new device, click Register a Device at the topmost left on the Devices Page.

Fill in the information required to complete the enrolment of a new device.

• Type - When you click on the field Type, you will get two options Device and Gateway. Choose one according to the type of your device.

• Device Name* - You must fill in the name of the device.

• Entity* - By clicking on the field Entity, a list of entities will pop up. Select one to which you want to assign your device.

• Device Tag* - Here in this field, you must fill in the name of the device tag.

• Network ID* - There are a number of network categories. In this field, you must write the network ID of your device.

• Keep Alive* - In this field, you need to fill in the time and this is the time between readings in seconds. This will affect the on/offline badges throughout the system.

It is required to fill in all those fields which have a * mark.

Once you register the device, you can check it on the list page of the devices..
