Creating Virtual Channel

To create a new virtual channel, click on the tab Virtual Channels V2 under Data Sources tab.

Click on the Create Virtual Channel button on the top-left of the Virtual Channels V2 page.

Fill in the information required to complete the enrolment of a new virtual channel.

• Virtual Channel Name* - By clicking on this field, you must write the name of the virtual channel.

• Channel Description* - Fill in the short description of the channel by clicking on this field.

• Channel Tag* - Fill in the channel tag.

• Entity* - By clicking on this field, you will get the list of entities. Select one to which you need to assign this channel.

• Sensor Type* - As there are a number of sensors, by clicking on the field sensor type, you will get the list of sensor types, choose one that is the type of your sensor.

You must fill in all the fields as all have an asterisk (*) mark

Now, click on the Create button to finish.

Once you create the virtual channel, you can check it on the list page of the Virtual Channels.👍
