Updating Alerts

To update the alert information:

By clicking either on the Alert description or on the editing button on the right side of the Alerts list page, you will get another page where the fields are divided into different sections. For each section, there is a separate tab. When you click on any particular tab, it will pop up only those fields that come under that section.

ALERT STATUS

By using this tab, you can update the alert mode and the alert status.

ALERT INFORMATION

By clicking on this tab, you can edit the field named Alert Name and entity.

ALERT CONDITION

Use this tab to update the alert conditions.

NOTIFICATION SETTINGS

By using this tab, you can update the email addresses to whom you want to send this alert report. You can also edit the notifications' subject and body. You can also change the notification channel and the throttle value by using this tab.

SENSORS

By using this tab, you can edit the list of sensors on which you want to apply the particular alert. You can delete the sensor from the list by clicking on the cross button corresponding to that sensor.

Click on the button "Add Sources to Monitor". A field called Sensors* will pop up where by typing in you can filter the new sensor and then you can add it by clicking on it.

Clicking on any column (Channel ID, Channel Description, Device Name, Device Tag, Value, Status, and Last Seen) sorted out by that column.

You can go to the search engine and search for a specific channel from those available in the current list. The search will apply to text in any of the following columns:

Channel ID, Channel Description, Device Name, Device Tag, Value, Status, and Last Seen

NOTES

Click on the tab Notes.

LOGS

By clicking on this tab, you can get the list page for information about operations within the operating systems, user name, value, device, and sensor.

You can export this listing page in various formats such as copy, PDF, excel, print, and CSV by using the respective button that is available on the topmost left of the list page.

You can go to the search engine and search for an event from those available in the current list. The search will apply to text in any of the following columns:

  • Name of the event

  • Timestamp

  • Device Name

  • Sensor Name

  • Value

  • User Name
