There are numerous definitions as to what a sensor is but I would like to define a Sensor as an input device that provides an output (signal) with respect to a specific physical quantity (input). There are many different types of sensors such as pressure sensors, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, and so on. When you use this feature, the sensor type you added will appear on the list page of the sensor types where you will see the following information.
Site - It is the name of the entity to which you assign the specific sensor type.
Name - It is the name of the sensor type.
Unit Label - It is the unit of measurement of the sensor.
Start Range - Some sensor types have some specific range that starts from a particular value. So, the start range is the minimum value of the range of the sensor.
End Range - The end range is the maximum value of the range of the sensor.
You can go to the search engine and search for a sensor type from those available in the current list. The search will apply to text in any of the following columns:
Site
Name
Unit Label
Start Range
End Range
You can edit the detail of a sensor type by clicking on the editing button .
You can delete a sensor type by clicking on the delete button.
If there is a long list of sensor types, then this list is converted into the number of pages. You can go to these pages by clicking on the respective button . You can go to the next page of the sensor type by clicking on the next button or can go to the previous page by clicking on the previous button . These buttons are available at the bottom right of each listing page of sensor types.
You can maximize the Sensor Types page of attributes to full screen by clicking on the button which is next to the searching engine and can also leave the full screen by clicking again on the same button.
