Creating Sensor Type

To add a new network type, click New Sensor Type at the topmost left on the Sensor types subpage of the attributes page of the module ADMINISTRATION.
Fill in the information required to complete the enrolment of a new sensor type.
Site* - When you click on the field site, you will get the list of entities. Select one to which you require to assign the sensor type.
Name* - In this field, you must fill in the name of the sensor type.
Unit Label* - In this field, you must fill in the unit of measurement of the sensor type.
Start Range - Fill in the minimum range number if it is required. When you click on this field or hover over this field, you will get two buttons, one for the increment of the number and the other for decrement. So you can adjust the number using these buttons.
End Range - Here you need to fill in the maximum range number if it is required. When you click on this field or hover over this field, you will get two buttons, one for the increment of the number and the other for decrement. So you can adjust the number using these buttons.
Badge Color* - When you click on this field, a page for the color adjustment will pop up. By clicking on any color, you will choose the badge color of the sensor type.
You must fill in all those fields which are mentioned with an asterisk (*) mark. You can not skip these blanks.
Once you add the sensor type, you can check it on the list page of the sensor type.
