Tracking Widget

The tracking dashboard widget is used to compare the current days performance against the performance from the period selected in the date range selection box.

The widget will calculate the data for the selected period, and format it according to the users and dsiplay this data grouped by hour. It then overlays the current days performance over the calculated results to give a visual comparison of "today" vs. historical data.

Tracking Widget Button

The tracking widget can be selected by clicking the button that looks like this

When clicked, users will be presented with a Modal pop-up that provides a set of options to configure the widgets.

This is the value of the comparrision data to be used.

Comparisons

Sum: Selecting sum will display the sum for the period selected. It will add up all values for that hour and dsiplay them.

Average: Selecting average will sum up all of the values for the selected period, group them by hour and then divide them by the number of values in each hour.

Maximum: This selction will find the maximum value for each hour for the period that you have selected.

Minimum: This selection will find the minimum value for each hour for the period that you have selected.

Widget Roadmap

Plans are in place for the following featues.

  • Ability to select different time ranges for comparrision (Currently limited to daily). For example weekly, monthly etc.

  • Move widget functionality to Analysis feature and allow more flexibility to select different compare to regions and current options.
